Position Overview This position is classified as non-exempt and reports to the General Manager and District Manager.
Assistant Managers are responsible for ensuring that the restaurant delivers great experiences to guests while maintaining operational standards.
You will manage the daily operations of the restaurant ensuring that the team properly follows all processes, policies, and procedures.
Essential duties may include, but are not limited to the following • Enhance guest experiences by ensuring that team members satisfy and exceed guest expectations • Ensure performance, service, product quality and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld • Assist with all front of house and back of house operations according to the company’s standards • Support the General Manager in the use of all systems, training programs and the day to day operations of the store • Handle and report guest and team member complaints/concerns/injuries in a friendly, timely and respectful manner • Ensure processes, policies and procedures are properly followed throughout daily operations Capability Requirements • Communicate proficiently through speech, reading and writing • Maintain effective audio-visual perception and judgment to observe and respond to the environment • Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following: • Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time • Frequently lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead • Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation • Work in an environment that features hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens • Operate and work safely with restaurant equipment including, but not limited to, knives, fryers and potentially hazardous equipment Job Qualifications • Must be 18 years of age or older • Ability to work a flexible schedule and a minimum of 40 hours per week • Completion of Zaxby’s certification test and all in-store training requirements • Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills and ability to interact professionally with others • Leadership experience preferred
