Primary Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate activities applying knowledge of production methods, processes, machines and equipment
Provide leadership, direction and training for departmental employees
Ensure safety practices, quality standards, production schedules, housekeeping standards and cost goals are met
Qualifications:
This positon requires a four-year relevant degree and five years' experience in a quality related environment, or a two year degree and ten years' experience, or relevant experience
ASQ Certified SSGB or SSBB desirable
Principles and practices of employee supervision, including work planning, assignment review and evaluation, discipline and the training of inspection staff
Requires good communication skills with the ability to teach others and participate with teams
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and possess working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is required
Must be able to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
Prior Leadership experience in the related field preferred
