Job Summary: The US Army JFK Special Warfare Center and School (SWCS) conducts Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) training for Special Forces (SF) and other designated military and government personnel.
The contract Deputy Program Manager (DPM) assists the PM in the supervision of day to day contractor operations and acts on his behalf if the PM is absent.
The DPM oversees operational training and is responsible for contractor training and progression.
This position is contingent upon the award of a government contract.
Responsibilities: Assist the PM in overall contractor workforce management.
Attend meetings and conduct coordination with government personnel at SWCS as necessary to accomplish the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and act on behalf of the contract PM in their absence.
Oversee all operational training executed in support of the contract.
Manage / maintain the Contractor’s Quality Control Program, and act as liaison with Government Quality Assurance personnel (Training Cell and COR) on contract employee performance and evaluations.
Supervise and manage contractor training and progression and oversee training support efforts as outlined in the PWS.
Required Skills and Experience: Expertise in PR/SERE training, policy and operational TTPs including applicable TRADOC, JPRA and DoD guidelines pertaining to SWCS and SERE School training operations.
Expertise in SERE instructor training, training program quality assurance, and instructor training program management.
Minimum of five (5) years of documented and verifiably successful management experience.
Minimum of one (1) year as a current contract team leader at the SWCS SERE Level C course.
Graduate of a DoD SERE Level C course.
Meet all qualifications and maintain certification at the advanced instructor level.
Maintain physical fitness to accomplish required rigorous physical activity consistent with the SERE program training requirements and the PWS.
Secret clearance.
Desired Skills and Experience: Four (4) or more years instructor experience in a DoD SERE Level C program.
Three (3) or more years as a contract team leader at the SWCS SERE Level C course Previous experience as a contractor in a Key Personnel role at a SERE Level C training program.
Completion of advanced SERE training programs such as the PR 300 series courses or other JPRA certified PR/SERE training programs.
Previous active-duty SOF experience conducting tactical ground, air and/or maritime operations.
Required Background Check: Employment pre-hire screening and DoD security clearance verification (Secret) Type of Employment: Full Time T3i Drug Free Workplace Statement: As a Federal Government Contractor, T3i is required to strictly adhere to federally mandated drug-free workplace standards.
To ensure compliance with this requirement, T3i conducts pre-employment drug screening for all new hire personnel (full time, part time, and independent contractor) and annual random drug screening for all current T3i personnel.
All drug screening includes testing for the following drugs, at a minimum: Marijuana (CBD, hemp oil, and other cannabidiol use may result in a positive result), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-monoacetylmorphine, and PCP.
Personnel who cannot pass drug screening are not eligible for employment with T3i.
