*SUMMARY OF POSITION*
As the Operations Manager, you will be leading the production team through effective management, proper staffing, team development, and lean processes to achieve consistent quality and exceptional customer satisfaction while remaining profitable on all sites.
You will diligently managed our Prevention Based Safety Program, ensuring all safety and health standards are met to minimize incidents and prevent all injuries.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
· Ensure work is being performed in adherence with safety policies and procedures, always placing safety as the #1 priority and consistently enforce the safety message with team.
· Responsible for managing and adhering to all aspects the prevention based safety program and ensuring a zero injury culture
· Manage production team and process through all seasons including snow events
· Exemplify leadership by handling conflict effectively and facilitating solutions as opportunities to grow and manage team, win over customers, and raise the bar for value.
· Collaborate with Branch Manager to set production goals for each season that delivers exceptional customer value and exceeds budget goals.
· Optimize work sequence based on lean management to meet and exceed production goals
· Recruit and hire based on our core values.
· Develop, train, and lead production management team on Munie processes and horticultural support to ensure they have the tools to deliver the “wow factor” to the customer.
· Ensure timely solutions to production related issues are being addressed and execute timely solutions on all requests.
· Frequently communicate with Production Managers to gain thorough understanding of production status and task list
· Ensure Production Managers understand contract specifications and identifying enhancement opportunities during quality control checks.
· Ensure thorough team understanding of customer site needs and schedule tasks in such a way that we are proactively alleviating pain points and building trust
· Train production management team in continually ‘value engineering’ on all work sites.
· Continually evaluate production and efficiency with Production Managers
· Ensure thorough weekly look-aheads and daily work plans are completed prior to the performance period.
· Demonstrate the ability to problem solve with available equipment and personnel
· Be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and lead by example.
· Instill trust from both your team and your customers by ensuring consistent follow through and adherence to company procedures
· Be committed to growing in your green industry knowledge to better serve the customer
· Develop a thorough understanding of and follow our Aspire’s scheduling and work ticket processes
· Review and analyze budget to actual hours on regular basis keeping crews informed of their achievements and working with Field Supervisor to offer strategies for improvement
· Demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse groups of people across levels and identify and develop talent
· Educate team members in all departments on horticulture practices when opportunities arise and assist production and management team in ensuring proper processes are followed.
· Responsible for the safety, proper use, life cycle management, and accountability of department equipment and tools
· As the Operations, other duties may be assigned to you and changed from time to time by or under the authority of the President

Pay: $65,000.
