Responsibilities Peraton requires Spectrum Managers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3.
Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.
The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Spectrum Managers require extensive experience with evaluating and analyzing Table of Frequency Allocations, channel plans, and planned changes.
They must be knowledge of the relevant processes and procedures relative to frequency and spectrum management, including the assignment and management of frequencies for radio networks.
Spectrum Managers must have excellent interpersonal, business management and customer service skills.
Duties include but are not limited to: Eliminating conflicts in frequency assignments Preparing engineering data for frequency assignments Conducting analyses and studies of radio frequency (RF) assignments Coordinating with appropriate Government and non-Government officials to carry out mission operations Analyzing the technical data of communication equipment and systems Managing site surveys and assisting in the development of communications plans Preparing and reviewing applicable spectrum management documentation Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission Locations: • Camp Humphreys, South Korea • Stuttgart, Germany • Camp HM Smith, HI • Ft.
Liberty, NC • Little Creek Naval Base, VA * Positions are contingent on contract award * **Salary range is based on geographical location.
** #SITEC2023 Qualifications Required qualifications: BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2.
Substantial experience can be substituted in lieu of formal education.
DoD TS/SCI clearance is required 3 or more years of experience in an RF-related position NTIA Spectrum Management Course or equivalent courses OR Spectrum Operations Apprentice Course (SOAC) (Keesler AFB - DoD) OR Electromagnetic Spectrum Management (ESM) course (Ft.
Gordon-Army) Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
