Spathe is currently searching for a Service Operations Manager to join our team at Fort Bragg, NC.
The Service Operations Manager is a vital member of the Spathe Program team directly supporting the on-site customer.
This position is responsible for the onsite management of personnel and technical decisions within a C4ISR environment.
Previous management experience is required.

Job Description:
The Service Operations Manager is the senior level leader who oversees and guides functions and activities, including production maintenance, within the IT Service Delivery group while keeping an eye towards new technology and ways to improve the Program as a whole.
This person controls the service process by designing, implementing, maintaining and improving the staff and program operations.
They keep a close eye on the organizational productivity and efficiency while ensuring that everyone on the team is aligned towards the overall goal and mission objective.
This position will include direct management of resources and will report to the Spathe Fayetteville Program Manager.
Responsibilities:
Job Requirements:
Management and development of direct reports within the Service Delivery group
Timely turnaround of reporting: Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), Contract Deliverables, general reports as requested
Understand technical aspect of a C4ISR program and the work required to maintain and increase capability within the program
Interviewing, selection and hiring; planning, assigning and directing work
Identifies staffing needs and works with Program Manager to assist with the hiring process.
Upholds a sense of customer service and measures client satisfaction
Attends industry events and trade exhibitions to learn about cutting edge product releases and news
Authoring and discussing with employee’s performance appraisals
Addressing employee performance and corrective action plans
Forecasting of ODCs and support of HW/SW purchasing process in support of the program
Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to quality, customer service, or accidents and mishaps on-site.
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Certification Requirements:
AA/AS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
ITSM IAT Level III Certification
PMP Certification desired but not required
5+ Year in a Technical Management role
