CMP Pharma focuses on developing niche products where needs for alternative dosage forms exist in the acute and long-term care setting.
*SUMMARY:* The Sr.
Manager, Reporting & FP&A is a broad, hands-on position responsible for financial reporting, company-wide budgeting, and forecasting, and serving as a “business partner” with other functional areas at CMP Pharma.
The positions will work closely with and report directly to the CFO.
The Sr.
Manager, Reporting & FP&A will initially be an individual contributor; however, the opportunity will grow along with the organization.
The role will be fast paced in a tight deadline driven environment where the ideal candidate will (i) understand Reporting/FP&A best practices and implement process improvements; (ii) will have a strong accounting background/understanding; and (iii) be able to manage multiple long-term projects with proven project management skills.

*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * *Financial Reporting* o Maintain/revamp and complete the monthly reporting model/excel package delivered to company Executives and Board of Directors o Gross-to-Net (GTN) tracking, reporting, monitoring (working with Accounting and VP Sales & Marketing) o Product contribution statements o Help develop and build-out company KPIs and tracking o Meet position related monthly close reporting deadlines – e.

, 3rd party profit share/royalty calculations o Provide financial data for 3rd party reporting – i.

, profit share, royalty, state drug price transparency *Budgeting and Forecasting* o Responsible for company-wide Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash flow budgeting and forecasting o Coordinate with various functional areas (VP Sales/Marketing, VP Operations, other Dept heads) to obtain accurate assumptions for department budgets/forecast updates o Scenario planning, risk and opportunity analysis, and key assumption documentation *Business Partner* o Help control spend by meeting regularly with Department heads to review budget vs actuals (opex, capex, headcount, etc) o Assist departments in financial decisions and project tracking o Act as liaison between finance and the rest of the organization *Advance Modeling* o Assist with modeling important CAPEX investment decisions o Organize and head the Pipeline review committee to track and assess development project priority *Ad hoc projects as need* *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* * 7-10+ years’ experience with at least 5 years in similar Reporting/FP&A role(s) * Master’s Degree in Accounting or MBA from an accredited college or university and top academic credentials * Pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing industry experience preferred * Strong Accounting Background * Understands account coding and hierarchy with ability to convert GL data into meaningful reporting * Advanced Excel skills required (looksups, sumifs, create financial models) * Strong systems experience * Excellent problem solving and communication skills that result in clear recommendations * Able to collaborate on all levels of the organization *WORK ENVIRONMENT:* The work environment may be considered remote/hybrid and work from home.
