Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Kitchen Manager to join our team.
As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production, maintaining quality standards, and managing a team of kitchen staff.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent kitchen management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise all kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, kitchen cost and performance evaluations - Oversee food production and ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock - Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop menus and specials - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety regulations - Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs - Implement cost control measures to optimize kitchen operations and minimize waste - Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development among kitchen staff Requirements: - Previous experience in a leadership role in the food service industry, preferably as a Kitchen Manager or Assistant Manager - Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food production, inventory management, and sanitation practices - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team - Solid understanding of hospitality management principles and customer service best practices - Proficient in interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating employees - Familiarity with restaurant management software systems is a plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for food service and team management, we invite you to apply for the position of Kitchen Manager.
