FirstHealth is seeking a highly qualified Director to join FirstHealth Hoke.
This pivotal role combines project management expertise with administrative acumen to ensure the seamless operation of the facility.
The Administrative Services Director will manage a portfolio of strategic and operational projects.
Will be responsible for developing project work plans, monitor work plans and metrics to assure activities are executed on time and on budget, coordinate resources/key stakeholders and effectively communicate to all levels of leadership.
In partnership with hospital president, responsible for planning board meetings, preparing board packets, developing agenda and meeting minutes and working closely with board members.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to prepare for regulatory surveys (DNV), ensuring all required documentation and processes are in place.
Lead efforts to maintain and improve survey readiness.
Works with all departments to ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations and standards, including but not limited to DNV accreditation.
Facilitate internal audits to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes.
As a member of leadership team, participates in Call Rotation and Administrator on Call responsibility for the facility.
Collaborates with the finance and strategy/innovation to analyze financial data and develop budgetary recommendations and financial spreadsheets, reports and charts.
Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
Oversee FTEs to ensure optimal coverage while adhering to budget constraints and labor regulations.
Leads and participates in department huddles to foster communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Address staff concerns and provide guidance on workflow optimization.
Support all the leaders and employees as needed.
Coordinates and participates in tabletop exercise and active shooter drills etc.
to ensure compliant with system and regulatory requirements.
Utilize critical thinking skills to develop and implement disaster and emergency management plans with Director of Safety.
Coordinate response efforts during crises to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
Represents the healthcare facility by actively participating in community events, building positive relationships with stakeholders, and promoting the organization's core purpose and values.
Bachelors required.
Master's degree preferred.
Degree could be in Education/Healthcare/Business Administration, or related field preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of experience one or more areas; clinical/patient care operations, project management, regulatory survey facilitation, and leadership.
Demonstrated project management and exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, particularly in emergency situations.
Proficiency in budget and financial analysis.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills for community engagement and staff collaboration.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
Willingness and ability to work flexible schedule
