The Manager of Team Member Retention & Experience will be responsible for managing and maintaining Employee Engagement while Carrying the Culture of Flow.
This is an opportunity to shape the future of Flow through monitoring the productivity, recognition and engagement of the employees of Flow, specifically within the Western Group encompassing Statesville and Asheville, North Carolina.
Our General Managers are naturally operations-focused; this role is to assist the Group President and regional team in being people-focused.
This position plays a critical role in reducing turnover and helping reward our people through the development of flourishing and fulfilling careers.
Daily responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Coordinate with Director of Team Member Experience to identify organizational/group needs and opportunities for:
- Measuring and Increasing Employee Engagement
- Monitoring Employee Productivity and Success
- Reducing Turnover by Increasing Retention
- Championing Recognition and Rewards
Lead Training and Onboarding within the Group in coordination with Flow Management Services
Report monthly and weekly meetings - all store, managers, shop, etc
Coordinate store events around holidays and team-building opportunities.
Partner with Events Team within Marketing to identify, create, and fill service opportunities within the local community.
Facilitate monthly employee experience surveys with the People and Culture Team.
Collaborate with the Group President and General Managers to conduct performance reviews and monitor the ongoing development of high performing team members.
Identify high performing managers with potential for growth and guide them toward additional training allowing them to rise within the company.
Build rapport with all team members to deliver a positive employee experience through proactive communication and efficient process management.
Promote and champion the Thrive@Flow programs and partners.
Triage employee issues with and on behalf of the Group President and General Managers.
Conduct exit interviews with every departing employee.
Assist the Group President & People and Culture Team in other projects, as assigned.
Required Expertise:
At least 3 years of demonstrated employee development experience.
Experience with project management.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings, email and in formal discussions.
