POSITION SUMMARY: Directs and organizes the daily maintenance and repairs of the facility systems: Mechanical (refrigeration, heating, cooling, and air conditioning systems and equipment including boilers) Electrical (generators electrical panels, circuits) Plumbing (sanitary sewer, fire protection, medical gas) and Carpentry (painting, doors) through regular inspections of these systems to ensure the safety of the facilities.
Supervises, trains, and coordinates the maintenance mechanics weekly/daily schedule.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: Minimum required: 10 years’ maintenance experience in a healthcare organization (3 years must be in a recent supervisory capacity).
Knowledge and experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system operations and their interrelationship with the building.
Preferred: Associate s Degree in Engineering; Licensed in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical or other similar trade certification.
Healthcare experience.
