*Job Description: *
* Executes transportation operations to move personnel and equipment globally.
* Responsible for the upload and download of passengers and cargo on both military and civilian aircraft and coordinates aircraft support functions with outside agencies.
* Responsible for cargo preparation for Command missions, and exercise scenarios.
* Prepares all cargo (rolling stock, containers, and palletized) for various modes of air transport.
* Develops mission timelines to avoid costly aircraft delays.
* Coordinates cargo movement with deployed leaders to set priorities, based on airlift capabilities.
* Responsible for inspecting, storing, preparing, and properly documenting Hazardous Materials to include ammunition offered for transport to worldwide locations for both military and commercial shipments by surface (rail and road), vessel and air.
* Responsible for processing cargo in the Channel Airlift system and utilizing multiple Air Force shipping ports to ensure delivery of mission essential items.
* Provides cargo preparation and logistics training to unit members in order to prepare them for forward deployed functions.
* Forecast, acquire and maintain all required supplies for transportation, including but not limited to 463L pallets, cargo nets, ratchet straps, wood pallets, etc.
* Serves as the command focal point for commercial line haul coordination.
* Responsible for the surface deployment of various types of cargo/equipment in order to meet exercise, and real-world sustainment objectives.
* Manages fund sites used to obtain Government and Commercial Bills of Lading to support various modes of transportation.
* Coordinates with Command Resource Managers to reconcile funds allocated for billing discrepancies.
*Minimal Qualifications:*
* 463L Single Pallet and pallet train build up, and securing cargo nets
* Fork Lift Certified (4k, 10k, All Terrain)
* Experience background with aircraft on/off load procedures
Experience loading and offloading commercial line hauls
