Hackney is hiring for our satellite facility in Dunn NC.
This job consists of managing a fleet of drivers of approx 8 to 10.
You may be asked to run a route, Class A Drivers License is preferred.
*Responsibilities:* - Oversee and manage the transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching of vehicles and drivers - Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards - Monitor driver performance and provide coaching and feedback as needed - Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient transportation operations - Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver logs, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage - Investigate and resolve any transportation-related issues or customer complaints - Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation efficiency and reduce costs - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in transportation management Experience: - Proven experience in transportation management or a related field - Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to effectively communicate with drivers, staff, and customers - Proficient in using transportation management software and systems - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment - Leadership skills to effectively manage a team of drivers (Class A Drivers License preferred, Current Medical Card) We offer competitive compensation packages and benefits for our employees.
