Helps to coordinate security and protection to visitors on campus, coordinates and directs the activities of outside law enforcement agencies, emergency personnel and other agencies that may be called in to assist in special situations (sporting events, etc.

Sergeants serve as shift supervisors and work in conjunction with the Lieutenant in managing and directing shift operations.
