Hey yall! We had a fence mishap about a month ago and some chickens did some unwanted mingling unfortunately.
We put the eggs in the incubator anyways.
Generally we have 3 pens set up.
Pen 1 is a creamleg bar rooster (no longer with us because the orpington rooster took him out when they got mixed up) with creamleg bar hens and orpington hens.
Anything from this pen would be cream legbars or easter eggers.
Pen 2 is only orpingtons
Pen 3 is a black copper maran with black copper maran hens and cream legbar hens.
Anything from this pen would be olive eggers or black copper marans.
Pen 1 and 2 got completely mixed up, and a few hens from pen 3 got out and mingled as well.
The eggs that are hatching now the possibilities are
Black copper marans- chocolate eggs
F1 Easter eggers- mint green eggs
F1 Olive eggers-lighter olive shade
Orpingtons- pinkish-tan eggs
Cream legbars- blue eggs
Slim chance of orpington X maran- some shade of brown
Because I do not have a clue what rooster fertilized what egg this is NOT a good idea for anyone looking for specific chickens or egg colors.
However this is a great deal for anyone looking for surprise chickens/egg colors.
Until a month from the mix up all chicks/hatching eggs will be heavily discounted.
Since I have no clue whats what
Chick $4-straight run (usually $10)
A dozenHatching eggs $8 (usually $20-$25)
Picture of the hatching eggs (and a sample of possible egg colors from these chickens) will update a picture of chicks when theyre done hatching.

Eating eggs also available for $4- these will be eggs unlikely to hatch due to high porosity or detatched air sac
