Resource Teacher

*Resource Teacher Job Description*: The Resource Teacher reports directly to the lead teacher regarding student disciplinary action, and to the Superintendent for intra-school concerns or breach of policy, and Paid Time Off (PTO).
This position is a part time position.
Below are the specific responsibilities of the Resource Teacher.
I.
*Teaching Responsibilities*: · Learning to plan and implement daily instruction using an Orton-Gillingham (OG) lesson plan, for resource groups in reading and written language · Planning and implementing daily multi-sensory lessons for students that qualify for math instruction · Working with general education staff to obtain academic information to support students who are being served in academic support · Informal assessment to determine quarterly goals for resource students · Assisting in developing quarterly goals for resource students · Maintaining monthly data collection for each resource student · Preparing and sending progress reports and grades each quarter to general education staff and administration under the direct supervision of the Lead Teacher.

* *Additional Responsibilities* · Continuation of Orton-Gillingham training and staff development · Following guidelines for Riverside Christian Academy Teacher Standards as outlined in the Employee handbook · Parent/teacher conferences · Resource Teacher/General Education Teacher conferences · Abiding by school policy Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Pay: $20.
